Greetings everyone.
The beginning of the month is a treat for sports fans. We will be showing the Victoria Derby on Saturday the 1st and the Melbourne Cup on the 4th. Join in the fun of our sweepstake. Check out the full list of televised sporting events in the bar.
To celebrate Guy Fawkes Night (and the results of the U.S. election) we will serve Toad-in-the-Hole with mashed potato,veg and gravy at 8pm PROMPT. Bookings are recommended.
Roast turkey is the special of the day on the 27th. Something to do with giving thanks!!!
All our usual events continue with the Prize Draw, the Quiz, Bar-B-Q and Sunday Roast.

Pub Activities
Because of the no smoking ban in bars and restaurants we have (at great expense) built a bar with an awning in the garden. This is proving to be very popular with both smokers and non smokers especially on our Saturday Bar-B-Q Night.
Looking for a place to hold a meeting or event? Our restaurant area is available for parties and functions at NO extra cost. Speak to the management regarding our special deals.

Sport on TV
We will let you know on the Pub notice board what sporting events of high interest are to be shown live for the forthcoming week. If there is a special request for a particular event on TV please let Grahame know in sufficient time for him to rearrange his schedule, if possible. Of course it may cost a beer or two. |
